Hi, ! I need to touch base with you on something, so you are aware. As I

am sure you know, there are all too many scams out there. Thankfully, I try to

keep updated on these things to protect myself, and our Dwarfism Group members.

Just recently I learned about one of the latest scams making the rounds, where a

person's E-Mail account is entered, then they send what will APPEAR to be a very

" real " desperate emergency request for $2,000.00 to everyone in your

addressbook. One exactly like this came to me recently, from your E-Mail addy

as a message to be approved for the Dwarfism Group. It stated you and your wife

were stranded in London, England, and desperately needed the help of all

Dwarfism Group members, because you were mugged and had all your money,

passports, and credit cards stolen...that the ONLY way for you to pay the hotel

bills and return home, was to beg us to PLEASE come to your aid by sending

$2,000.00 immediately to get you out of this jam! Alerting usually

doesn't do any good, but I did anyway. And now I am letting YOU know, so you

may do whatever is necessary to protect your account. This absolutely does not

mean YOU are at fault here.

It just means there obviously ARE some not very nice people out there, who do

what they do to take advantage of the goodness in others. What a shame, huh?
