Also, warm to hot liquids - decaf tea is good and walking. Lots of walking around. One of the things that forms gas is when our GI tract is empty and does more moving (called peristalsis). That wave-like movement of the small and large bowel forms more gas. Drink your broth and protein drinks so you don't get hungry in order to keep the gas from starting up so badly. You'll make it.
