HOw far out are you? I have been doing weight training lately myself.

well not really weight training, more like toning routines. I am using

dumbells to gain strength and tone. I dont know the answer to when it

is safe to start this, but I Think it is great that you want to! :-) I

am loving my new routine. I do a work out of toning with weights,

stretches and toning excersises. and then I do a 30 minute walk. I

have had so much energy and I feel so wonderful!! :-)

I hope you can start soon, you will feel so good!! :-)

hugs,

I was told to wait for about 6 weeks.. when you start on solid food you can start weights. Just to let you know the band has never been a problem were weightlifting is concerned. Be patient and time will pass quicklyKenlizpoohmiles <lizpoohmiles@...> wrote: Does anyone know when it is safe to start weight lifting/weight training???

Hello Sleever's,I am having the revision surgery this Saturday, the 27th. Very nervous & excited which I know is normal. As far as exercise, I enjoy weight lifting, not body building for women, LOL, just weight lifting. I have a membership at a local gym. I have asked them to put my personal training on HOLD until January. Is that a workable time frame for weight lifting? Thanks for your help,Dawn
