Does everyone know that on you can make up your own password? Of

course, you have to know your password to get to the page to change

it. But if you forget, you can tell them that and they will email you a

new one. Then immediately go in and change it to something you will

remember. I shouldn't tell everyone this, but I use the same password for

almost all my stuff on-line. That way, I never forget it. Make up

something you are sure to remember. Mix up names of relatives, initials

that you can remember, part of your phone number, whatever you can

remember. I also keep a small notebook next to my computer and jot down

the several different passwords and other odd things I need to

remember. For example, wouldn't let me use Jan Christensen to get

in--it was already in use, so I had to make up something else. Sometimes I

forget what it is, so I have it written down.

A suggestion for creating a password is to use a combination of numbers,

letters and symbols. One way you can do this is to think of a sentence. For

example, " I love to eat ice cream at 3 in the morning. " Thus, your password

would be " ILTEICA3ITM " -- or something similar to that. Using a combination

of letters and symbols makes it more difficult for hackers to guess

passwords.
