He did not suffer and died instantly and the ambo's could not bring him back. He was 50 years old and had a lot more damage and blockages than he let me know to his heart and lungs. Guest guest Posted August 6, 2006 Report Share Posted August 6, 2006 Hi Everyone I just wanted to thank everyone for their support and kind supportive and loving words during the past week. I laid Carl to rest on Friday and he looked so peaceful and beautiful and all the years of pain, stress and worry that he carried was gone. He didn't have a line or wrinkle on his face or any bags under his eyes. It was a beautiful cleansing and healing day with rain and wind and was freezing cold at the cemetary overlooking the ocean. Mum and Dad went back yesterday morning (Sunday) so we are on our own now which is hard. Have to go out to cemetary and take something out to mark his grave until I can afford to get something made up. A dear friend stayed behind on Friday after we all went up to the hall and she said the Sea Eagle circled around and then up to the hall where we were. He was a truly beautiful spirit, a very wise old soul in a young body and I believe that is why he was taken so early from this life and I also believe that we will be together again for eternity. My sister-in-law told me that day that my niece, her daughter, had a dream in which she saw a white light and then saw Carl and he said: "I am not dead, ask Tracey and the kids".
