Guest guest
Hello Georgina: I have the bypass surgery in High Point in April 2003. Although I have done well, I would like to get to know others that have had the surgery. However, we are attending the foster care classes (we are considering taking in a foster child) and will not be able to come until about the third Thursday in March. As luck would have it our classes are every Thursday night. Please keep me posted, I will plan to attend sometime in March. thanks Terry Hatfield [Norton AntiSpam] Raleigh/Durham NC Support Meeting > > >>> >>>>> The Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina, MGB Support Group is an informal >>>>> group of friends who get together for dinner at 7:00 p.m. on the 3rd >>>>> Thursday >>>>> of each month at different restaurants in the Raleigh/Durham, NC area. >>>>> We >>>>> share a common experience of having had Mini-Gastric Bypass (MGB) >>>>> weight-loss surgery with The Centers for Laparoscopic Obesity Surgery >>>>> (www.clos.net). Guest guest
No, you do not have to be a post-op in order to attend a support meeting. One of the reasons for the group is for persons considering having the procedure (MGB) to find out more about it from people who have had it, face to face. Guest guest
Hi, I have rediscovered the post-op site. Dr. R did my surgery on 5/16/2002 in Statesville, NC. He also did my sister and neice's surgery prior to mine. Please let me know when you will have the next meeting in Durham. I would like to attend and bring a guest that is interested in the surgery. I wish you and others a happy healthy New Year.
