Guest guest
Hello . I've helped many people with exactly the same problem. The problem is that you're stomach is much higher in the abdominal cavity than it shoud be. This is caused by a sudden fright ie a car accident or similar experience which causes the abdominal muscles to constrict rapidly and force the stomach up into an unnatural position against the heart and left lung. Not only does this impede heart and lung function, it also dramatically affects the functioning of the stomach, and hence, the entire digestive tract, enzyme production, ph of the body, opportunistic infections and the like. read more about it at www.energybalancing.com Go to the " therapies " page and click on the link " stomach up " I think you may be able to relate to some of the symptoms described there. The website also gives instructions to remedy the problem by simply pushing the stomach back into place. An extreme case of the stomach being up is where a small piece of it will perforate the hiatus ( the hole where the oesophagus and trachea go through) This in doctor's terms is called a hiatal hernia. Hope this helps, > > Hi, > > Two years ago I was diagnosed with acid reflux. I went the usual route; traditional > doctors, tests, meds, etc, then I developed hives from the med Nexium. Guest guest
HI, I had the exact same problem with the burping. As soon as I started taking digestive enzymes it stopped right away. I see that you are taking digesetive enzymes and you are still burping. Mabye try adding some betaine HCL. When do you take your digestive enzymes ? Before during or after meals ? I take mine before. Digestion Hi, Two years ago I was diagnosed with acid reflux. I went the usual route; traditional doctors, tests, meds, etc, then I developed hives from the med Nexium. From there I started searching for alternatives and found a nutrtionist who helped me tremedously; natural hormone creams (my hormones were way off), powerful acidolphilus to clean out my gut and put in the good bacteria (had candida overgrowth and IBS for 20 years). He also gave me a digestive aid, Total Digest. Oh and I also started eating Macrobiotic, do juicing, and Dr. 's zapping and kidney cleanse. I couldn't do her parasite cleanse since I was allergic to walnut hull. It made me cramp up and blood came out my urine. Not good. Anyway, here's my problem. I still get burping after meals. Sometimes a lot. My nutritionist (Joe) says it's because my digestion is still weak and the stomach is a muscle and muscles take longer to heal. I may not be producing enough HCI, and then the food ferments in the stomach and that's what causes the gas. What I want to know is if anyone has experienced similar problems and what they did about it. I'm so tired of having this issue. It just hasn't gone away. I'm not sure what to do next. I'd like my body to produce the right amount of HCI and digest my food properly. Thanks, ------------------------------------------------------------------------
Guest guest
Hi , I've always been taking Digestive Enzymes, so I don't know why it's not working as well as it did. I just got HCL and I'm going to see if this helps. I take my dig. enz. before a meal. Some days are better then others, but I've been having this problem for two years (burping). It could be related to my third chakra issues, which I've been working on as well. I'm addressing this on all fronts; mental, emotional, spiritual and physical. Thanks for you help. > > HI, > > I had the exact same problem with the burping. As soon as I started > taking digestive enzymes it stopped right away. I've lived most of my life in fear, so this makes sense to me. Thanks for the info. > > > > Hi, > > > > Two years ago I was diagnosed with acid reflux. Guest guest
. Not too many people have heard of Energy Balancing, but those who have swear by it. I do.It may be difficult to do the manipulation yourself. It's better to have another do it for you, but if you haven't anyone, the standing up procedure is the best. Just keep trying until you get it down. Don't be afraid to dig up under the ribcage to get a good " grip " on the 'ol snarf with the tips of your fingers. An alternate way is to drink four cups of water first thing in the morning and jump up and land with legs, knees, and hips locked in a resounding thud. The weight of the water may move the stomach down. Hope this helps, cause if it does, you won't believe the difference. Cheers, > > > > > > Hi, > > > > > > Two years ago I was diagnosed with acid reflux. Guest guest
, thank you SO much for sharing your story on burping. And , thank you SO much for your information on remedying " stomach up " . I, too, suffer from perpetual burping. It started during a period of intense stress. First, I started burping all the time, pressure under my breastbone, imsomnia, anxiety, headaches, upper back and neck aches, and just feeling sick in general. My digestion felt so off that I tried a 3-week herbal intestinal cleanse. That just made me much, much worse. On top of the symptoms just mentioned (which grew much worse) I now had bad pain in my upper abdomen and dizziness. Finally went to the doctor and had lots of tests which revealed a non-functioning gallbladder. I had the gallbladder removed a year later. Unfortunately, the surgery did little to relieve me of my uncomfortable symptoms. I burp almost all the time! I burp when I get up in the morning, before I eat. I often burp after I eat. Some of the worst burping occurs when I get hungry. The last three days I have been trying the pull-down manipulation which brought to our attention. At first, I didn't notice much but today my head feels clearer and lighter, and my breathing feels easier. So maybe this is helping! I will keep at it -- can't hurt! , a question: where do you find is the best place to dig in with the fingertips? I know you dig in under the ribs, but how far apart do you place your hands? Guest guest
, How does one know if their stomach is up , besides the symptoms ? I had a full body CT scan which did not show hiatal hernia and I also went to an osteopath which said she did not think I had a hiatal hernia. But when I read the section on your website, I see that a hialtal hernia is the extreme situation, so maybe my stomach is up afterall. I have a lot of the symptoms on your list, including burping, poor digestion etc. - isyour burping any less ? Re: Re: Digestion , thank you SO much for sharing your story on burping. Guest guest
. Place both hands together on the left ribs with the pinkie of the right hand real close to the sternum. Dig under the ribs with both hands evenly on exhaling deeply and make a backwards 'J' motion, pushing the stomach down, making sure not to let the fingers slip. When the fingers are at the furthest position in pushing down the stomach, release them quickly then immediately rub the sternum to tell the body that's where the stomach should be. This is the reflex that locks in the adjustment. You can do it standing or lying down, but for me standing is best. Hope this helps and best of luck. Guest guest
Helo. the simplest way to check if the stomach is up is twofold. If you feel a knot in the solar plexus and if when you drink a cold glass of water you feel the water stop somewhere around the solar plexus, then probably the stomach is up. One does not have to have a hiatal hernia to have the stomach up. Hiatal hernia is the extreme case. Hope this helps. Guest guest
Hi , Is it possible for you to take some digital photos of the technique and send them to me and susan, or anyone else who is interested? I'm not quite sure if I understand how to do the technique correctly, and I don't want to harm myself by pushing and poking the wrong area. Oh, and I'm very grateful for your sharing of this information! Thank you so much. :-) > > , thank you SO much for sharing your story on burping. Guest guest
Dear , I'm so glad that I'm not alone in this burping thing that's been going on for two years. Sounds like you've had a rought time of it and hopefully 's stomach technique will work for both of us, and anyone else who needs this kind of help. Good luck, :-) > , thank you SO much for sharing your story on burping. And , thank you SO much for your information on remedying " stomach up " . > > I, too, suffer from perpetual burping. Guest guest
, thanks so much. I understand. I notice that your instructions focus on the left side of the upper abdomen, where I understand the stomach is primarily located. I commonly feel upper pressure just below and under my breastbone, which could be the stomach. But, I also feel upward pressure just as strongly just to the RIGHT of the breastbone. This pressure was even worse before I had my gallbladder removed. I rarely feel upward pressure on the left side. Have you, , or anyone else ever heard of digestive organs, other than the stomach, be in an upward position? It would seem that if stress can cause contractions which pull the stomach up too high, that other organs would be pulled upward, too!? in Eureka Re: Digestion . Guest guest
Hi all, Since starting the stomach-done exercises four days ago, the burping has decreased, as well as the dizziness, and feeling of bloated, sore upper abdomen. And so far, no headaches. BUT, I also started a bit of HCl and digestive enzymes at the same time, so that's probably helping, too. My primary care doctor swears I don't have a hiatal hernia or GERD; I've had barium studies and endoscopies which showed nothing unusual. But, two chiropractors did muscle testing which indicated hiatal hernia. A medical intuitive surprisingly picked up on a hiatal hernia; the intuitive also said that I have too much energy going " up " , not enough " down " . In traditional Chinese Taoism, one reads that energy should move down the front of the body, and up the back, in a circle. Interesting! , you ask how does one know if their stomach is up? In my case, my upper digestive organs just feel like they are up too high! For the record, I have done a few liver flushes. Since my gallbladder " went bad " , I figure my liver is not in the best shape. Unfortunately, the liver flushes have just my symptoms worse. I tried a parasite cleanse once and got so sick I had to stop. I may try it again. (Stool testing revealed no parasites, but who knows?) I think the burping is often caused by movement of the large intestine. For instance, on the liver flush, just before my intestines drop a big load, I feel slight cramping in my upper colon. At the same time I start burping like crazy! Enough rambling for now. Blessings to you all from in Eureka RE: Re: Digestion , How does one know if their stomach is up , besides the symptoms ? I had a full body CT scan which did not show hiatal hernia and I also went to an osteopath which said she did not think I had a hiatal hernia. But when I read the section on your website, I see that a hialtal hernia is the extreme situation, so maybe my stomach is up afterall. I have a lot of the symptoms on your list, including burping, poor digestion etc. - isyour burping any less ?
Guest guest
, thanks for your kind encouragement. Keep us posted on how you do. in Eureka Re: Digestion Dear , I'm so glad that I'm not alone in this burping thing that's been going on for two years. Sounds like you've had a rought time of it and hopefully 's stomach technique will work for both of us, and anyone else who needs this kind of help. Guest guest
, and all. I will see if some pictures of the procudure will turn out beneficial to you both. Guest guest
. The only possible harm you could do to yourself would be to get too close to the zyphoid process, a small bone located at the lower end of the sternum. I suspect, unless you have the strength of The Hulk, that you could not do yourself damage there, especially with the poor strength of the pinkie of the right hand. This is why I suggest keeping both hands left of the sternum. Hope this helps. And by the way, you're very welcome. Cheers, > > > , thank you SO much for sharing your story on burping. Guest guest
It stands to reason that if the stomach can be forced upwards by the extremely strong abdominal muscles, that any other organ can also be moved. All the organs are connected to some degree with lymphatic tissue and connective tissue, so if one moves, they all probably move to some degree, although I have not really heard of this happening. I believe that if the stomach is put back into position, that all the organs will find their rightful happy little place to be. Just my opinion. Cheers, > , thanks so much. I understand. > > I notice that your instructions focus on the left side of the upper abdomen, where I understand the stomach is primarily located. Guest guest
Thank you for the information . I don't feel a know there at all. I tried pulling my stomach down once before and got extreme burping (which I also get if I massage the stomach). DO you know how I could find someone in my area (Toronto On) that could help with the issues on your website - down stomach and ileocol valve ? Guest guest
Loretta, Thanks so much for your story. I actually tried drinking tons of aloe vera when this conditon first developed, but it did not help me. But your story still gives me hope, because maybe just time itself will give me relief. I mean it is not as bad as it was when it first developed a couple years ago. I would be very interested in why you think you developed this condition in the first place. If you don't want to post it publically, please email me at susan_moskaly@.... Blessings, in Eureka Re: Re: Digestion Hi & , In the mid 1990's, I began to suffer terrible bloating and burping. The burping was almost constant, day and night, and i had a feeling similar to lava in my throat when i did burp. Tears would often come spontaneously after these burps, as they were agonizing. This went on for probably about two years, despite innumerable doctors and " specialists " . I was put on a prescription drug, which didn't help noticeably, and had tests of all sorts. X-rays did show large amounts of gas bubbles in my stomach. The doctors didn't know what was wrong or how to help me, although they didn't directly put this into words. It was hard to be out in public at all, due to the awful burping, not to mention the bloating. We didn't know much of anything about natural healing, although i had successfully saved the lives of two of our cats during this time. (This was after the vet had been unable to help them with severe respiratory infections, which in fact they *picked up* at the vet, as he had been seeing cats from all over the area ~ which were dying, according to him. I purchased several books at the health food store, and started them on echinacea, Vitamin C, etc., which completely cured them within a month, and brought them back literally from death's door.) This may have been why we had a bottle of aloe vera gel in our cupboard, due to trips to the health store. Well, something prompted me to drink a couple of swallows, and i felt a tinge of relief and hope. For the next couple of years, I was almost inseparable from a " honey bear " that I filled with aloe vera juice and drank from constantly. It went in the car with me everywhere. When the burping riled up, I just took several swallows. Most days, I probably drank a several cups a day. Eventually, I was able to taper off. Today, I drink aloe vera only when excessive burping/bloating starts up. Usually this is only about one day a month or so. I still have more burping than probably most people, but usually there is no pain involved, and the burping is far from constant. Aloe vera has healed me of about 90% of my symptoms, and how grateful I am of this!! Just to think, the gel from a simple plant's leaves has infinitely more healing ability than anything a bevy of doctors could come up with, is remarkable. And the price...well, pennies to tens of dollars, taking only the prescription drug into consideration, and not the cost of doctor visits, etc. Yes, i think aloe is a beautiful plant today. I hope this is helpful, and i also plan to try the stomach manipulation, Best wishes:) Loretta P.S. Now, i also believe that i know what initially caused the burping, but that's another story. Most importantly, aloe vera will soothe and heal so much more than skin burns, but heals internally just as well.
Guest guest
Jan and Loretta, I have to agree with Ken. Xrays can't possibly show gas bubbles because they should be hollow or full of air, and not solid in any way so that they would show up on an xray. I put the question out to a large social network I am a member of, and there are many medical professionals in this group, and they got quite a giggle out of the question, yet no one offered anything to explain what might have been on the xrays, and one xray tech asked where this happened so he could avoid this clinic/hospital. I have no explanation either, but I have to ask, just where in your body was this seen on the xrays? Is there any chance it was undigested food? If either of you saw the xrays, did you see something circular in groups? I must admit, my curiosity is pretty high on this subject and I hope both of you can add more details of what you saw. Guest guest
Ken, I don't know one way or another, but never did care for that particular doctor anyway! He was only one of a " mess " of doctors and specialists who tried unsuccessfully to figure out what my health problem/s was. I ended up having surgery that didn't help any, and that i regret to this day. Bottom line, a simple and amazing plant, aloe vera, did more than all those men and tests put together. Loretta P.S. What the doctor showed me on the x-ray looked similar to designs in an agate rock, with large masses of rounded shapes in the stomach area. At that time, i had also, nearly overnight, started looking as though i was expecting. In fact congratulations even came my way, which was embarrassing to all. This doctor was the same one who tried shoving me down on the examination table when i told him i couldn't breathe on my back due to the pressure on my stomach. He pushed me down and tried holding me until i panicked and began crying because i could not breathe right. At that point he became even angrier at me, and told me i was lying! This unfortunately happened in front of my 2 young children who had gone with me that morning, as i had made an emergency appt. due to walking the floor in agony all night. That is just one reason i wasn't fond of this particular doctor, and we changed doctors after that incident. --- Kenny <kayo_420@...> wrote: > > Loretta, > I hate to be an adversary to your doctor's > diagnosis, > but I just don't buy it. Guest guest
Wait till the stool test results come back before you try increasing stomach acid, it might not be appropriate. But it wouldn't hurt to start some enzymes. And also, many people suggest consciously trying to chew your food more than you are used to doing...not just because it helps keep you from choking or something, but simply because there are enzymes in the saliva and it will help partially digest the food before it gets into your stomach. Many people are unaware that digestion actually starts in the mouth! Peace, Kathy E. > > Hi, I know I have weak digestion but is there any chance anyone could > advise on what area they think I need to focus on to improve it.
