Hi Gang,

   I'm emailing on behalf of Connie Doby, the President of the Gulf Coast

Chapter.  She has been President for about 4 years, YES, and needs someone to

take over the chapter.  I'm sure that all the officers down there need a break,

so IT's TIME TO STEP UP TO THE PLATE, and help the chapter stay functioning!!! 

4 years is a long time from brand new people to manage a chapter.  If everyone

works as a team it helps protect against burnout.

 

   Connie will step down regardless of any volunteers as of December, and we

can't have another chapter in the district go DEFUNK, so please contact Connie

at dolcekonnie@... ASAP. Sheryl Hankins can also give you feedback to the

duties of all the officers.

 

   Volunteers are also needed down there to host a chapter.  What is one day out

of 365 to set up a gathering?  It's a small chapter, but the members are spread

out from Mobile, AL all the way to the Louisiana line.  

 

   Anyone can be an chapter officers, as long as you have staying power!!  So

please, consider giving back to LPA what it has given you over the years as your

children grow up.
