,

I would suggest you use those excellent writing skills of yours and

tell this story on the editorial page of the largest newspaper in the

city. I'd also involve the ADA, the Chamber of Commerce, and anyone

else who can help. It just depends if this is a battle that you need

to fight or defer to someone else who lives in the city.

What a headache! I do agree about buses and cabs and take them too, but at least

here thingse pretty stable until next

year when phoenix supposedly merges with my part of town the east part of the

valley. Sounds tough don't blame you for cabbing it or thinking of moving. and

from what I remember of the little i saw of seattle it was presty nice.

Are you talking about your paratransit issues? Count me in on your writing

campaign.

Hi Tina,

Yes, that's correct. Pam suggested that I (as well as other paratransit

riders) write letters to the local newspaper to make people aware of the

poor service we are receiving. If we don't receive any positive results from

that, we plan to contact the local media.

Hi Gayle,

I'm going to fight this battle and its one I think I can win with the help

of others. A letter writing campaign is an excellent idea and something I'm

currently working on. With any luck, things will improve very soon -- even

if only a little at a time!!

Good luck and I'd be glad to try and write something for you that would be

frustrating.
