Isn't that surgery day? It really will be the first day of the rest of your life. I'll be there with you, I'll introduce you to everyone, show you around the hospital, sneak you outside for a breath of fresh air, you'll see, it will be a great experience. Make sure hubby doesn't forget that book! LOL I'll bring some of mine as well. We'll be busy reading while you do laps up and down the hallway. That doesn't sound very fair, does it? LOL!!! Dr Aceves will do my surgery on the 26th of May, so I will be flying into san Diego on the 25th. I hope to meet you. I will be going it alone, so it will be nice to know someone. This truly is a big step...and I am a bit nervous. I do have a question..I know I'm to be on liquids at first, does it need to be clear liquids? Looking forward to a life change and ready for it!! My hubby is going he is 6'1 and shaved head so if you see him proweling just ask if he is from KS and he will not be bashful. To help answer your question, if you go to our files you will see post- op diet. This will give you the complete info of what you can and cannot have right after surgery.
