That is very interesting as my son had surgery 4 years ago and has " a

small bump " behind his ear near the incision also, but the Dr. told

him " Not to touch it! " and that it was cartiledge??? He has never had

any problems with it, but I always thought it to be odd. I will be sure

to watch it. Thanks for the information!!! Judy
