Not sure what the best term is then? A counselor for weight loss support? Eating & food issues? Or perhaps one who is familiar with the band? Guest guest
Hi a, I agree to someone of what you are saying however not everyone has an eating disorder, not everyone eats the amount of food they do because they are substituting deep seeded issues with food. Our society has super sized everything and therefore it is acceptable and even considered normal to eat large amounts of food, huge portions. Is it right? NO! However we are products of our environment so if your parents eat large amounts of fatty food the chances are you are going to follow in their footsteps because that is normal for your family, This is why we have an epidemic of children with type 2 diabetes. I am guilty of contributing to my youngest being overweight, I was going threw a difficult time and I was fast fooding it for a while and my ex-husband who is a twig drinks soda like I drink water and that is what he gives her and if she was not getting braces today he would still give it to her. Well our daughter suffered for it! She went from a thin little girl to being 15-20 ilb overweight which is a lot for shorter 11 year old. We are really working on it now lots of dance classes and she is eating healthy. So see it can be out of your control and you are a product of your environment we as parents are at fault for our daughter being overweight and if we continued on that path next year it would be 30-40 pounds and so on. OK off my soap box. BTW how are you a? Trish Lanman
