I had the same problem as a child. Milk has never agreed with me. Joyce Re: [ ] excema Hi everyone! Guest guest
-My daughter has horrible excema problems, too. I've just recently found the answer for her, I hope. My pediatrician gave us some samples of a new non-steroidal cream called Elidel. It cleared things up within a week (from open wounds and scabs to baby skin!) Also, every evening, I have my daughter take a bath with 20 drops of Tea Tree oil added to the water. It really helps to soothe the skin. Hope this helps. -- In @y..., AhJhawk@a... wrote: > Hi everyone! Guest guest
a, Excema is very common in fatty acid deficiencies. You need some Evening Primrose in your diet somewhere. About 100 mg. a day. But then, fatty acids are oxidised by mercury so I guess that issue should be addressed also. Re: [ ] excema I don't drink milk and my hands look the same. As far as mercury goes, I have no fillings at all ( no cavities ever ), so I'm perplexed over this one. a _________________________________________________________________ MSN Photos is the easiest way to share and print your photos: http://photos.msn.com/support/worldwide.aspx
Guest guest
a, Two caps of CLO is very little. I calculated once to get at least 1 Gram of EPA I would need 12 caps. So try a little more of CLO from a reputable source and add in about 100 mg daily of EPA. Let me know what happens. Guest guest
By my calculation, you need 4 capsules of Kirkman's CLO to get 1 gram of EFAs, half of which is DHA and half EPA. So you would need 8 capsules for 1 mg of EPA. Each day, I give my son 1 tsp of Kirkman's lemon-lime CLO to get 1 mg of EFAs, and 3 coromega packets for an additional ~2 mg. Guest guest
Just be careful not to go over the Vitamin D and A maximum dose. Have you checked what is at the base of the Lemon-lime in Kirkmans..hopefully not artificial food-colouring .. The medications that are being used have steroids which cause other problems. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Guest guest
, can you elaborate? An internet friend has an 18 month old who has been suffering severely with eczema. She did do an allergy test and many foods showed up on the test. I told her about enzymes & probiotics. Can you tell me how she can rectify " a fatty acid deficiency " ? TIA!!! Guest guest
According to our DAN! MD, it's an inflammatory/immune imbalance. My son had an intense case for over a year, which vanished with epsom salt baths (which is strange?), but re-appears for about 3 days when he has a cold/flu. Many people find food sensitivities and/or phenols, trigger the skewed immune response in Th-2 dominant kids. It's not typically directly related to yeast or die-off, though there are external signs of yeast such as diaper rash, athlete's foot, thrush, bloating, etc. > > My son is developing a bad case of excema. He has never had too much of a problem with this in the past. Is excema a sign of yeast growth or die-off? > > Thanks, > > Lana >
Guest guest
Read the Sulfur and PST paper in our files section: /files/Related%20Topics%20a\ nd%20Supplements/ In my son's case, his life long eczema was resolved by addressing toxic phenol/sulfur overload in conjunction with supplementing for a secondary fatty acid metabolism problem. The recovery was amazingly fast - less than three weeks for beautiful new and clear skin. That was about a year and a half ago now and his skin is still perfect. It was incredibly helpful information. I still don't know who wrote the paper. If anyone knows, please send me the name so I can thank them personally! > > My son is developing a bad case of excema. Guest guest
Hi , I thought I replied to this but I don't see the post.I'm resending it again. Nice to hear your son is better with the eczema. My son has been battling with eczema for 10 years and with DAN supplements, enzymes,CLO,flaxseed and some homeopathy medicu=ine,he is better but still lot more to recover.Could you explain what is toxic phenol/sulfur overload and secondary fatty acid metabolism problem? How did you find out? What test did you do?What supplements or any other medicine/cream did you use? Sorry for so many questions.I'm desperate to help my son with eczema.I can't see him itching and peeling the skin.He hates his eczema and wipes it hard thinking that his brownish skin(that's what he calls ) will be wiped out with a towel. Thanks Radha > > > > My son is developing a bad case of excema. He has never had too much of a problem with this in the past. Guest guest
Have you had any allergy/food testing done? My son only has eczema issues if is diet has offending foods. Perfect skin other wise. Amazing but true. If he starts itching, running nose, first sign of issues. Tammy Re: Excema Hi , I thought I replied to this but I don't see the post.I'm resending it again.
