i am having the surgery cone on Aug 9 in manhattan.....hope that the surgery

is as " painless " as yours......also with the Nucleus 24..........please keep

me posted..and continued success.....

I will be thinking of you on Aug. 9th. The 2nd day after surgery was better

than the 3rd. I virtually did nothing yesterday, but that may be because I had

hearing in the ear prior to surgery and he knocked that out. So I have quite a

bit of rnging and dizzyness, but no pain. A couple of tylenol for tightness,

but nothing like I thought it would be. Just resting and taking it slow. I'll

keep you posted. Taryn

when i had my ci surgery 3 years ago, i had a lot of titinus and the surgen

decdied to operate on my better ear (I used HA in left - but not in right,

becuase I had no hearing). So after the op - as well as awful titnus, verigo,

etc etc, i also had to deal with total hearing loss in both ears for 4 wks post

op before switch on.,
