Guest guest Posted June 9, 2006 Report Share Posted June 9, 2006 Cauliflower Loaf - The Hippocrates Diet, by Ann Wigmore.- 1 cup shelled dried almonds, soaked for 6 hours in 1 1/2 - 2 cups spring or filtered water- 1 1/2 cups grated cauliflower- 9 to 10 mushrooms, grated (about 1 1/2 cups)- 1/2 celery stalk, chopped- 1/4 scallion, diced- 1 garlic clove, pressed- 1/2 tsp. dried basil- 1/2 tsp. dried ground sageGrind almonds as finely as possible. Mix all ingredients well and shape into a loaf. Serve on a bed of lettuce with salad or soup. Garnish with parsley sprigs, if desired.
