Jerome,

You and I have communicated before on another e-mail listserv. Are you

considering a CI? If so, that's great!! Have you already been through the

evaluation process?

Hi ,

I'm not done yet with the evaluation process. How are you? Are you starting

with your evaluation process?

The audiological stuffs are done, MRI was done today, CT scan will be done

on May 4.

I was warned that sounds will be different... I was thinking that it's okay

that sounds change as long as I can understand speech...

I hope everything will go well.

Regards/

Jerome

Jerome,

I haven't been through the evaluation process yet. I just mailed out my CI

application today. Now comes the hard part...waiting to find out if I'm a

good candidate. <smile>

I wish you all the best through the remainder of your evaluation process!!

I'm sure everything will go just fine!! I'll be thinking good thoughts for

you in the meantime. <smile>

This is the BEST advice I have read.. Its EXACTLY what my Audie told

me when choosing my Implant.. They only had CA, and AB to choose

from but he said the same thing.. Pick the one with the features you

like best.. NONE of the manufacture's can claim their's works

better..

There is Just too much variation in how well a person does with any

of them.

Cheers,

Evel
