Hi Carmen, I dont know if it matters or not but thats funny that you mentioned it because I was thinking the same thing before my surgery but never asked. I should of been having my cycle but i think my nerves put it off for a couple days because it started the day I was leaving the hospital which was good!! Maybe Nina can give you an answer. I was on it during my surgery, wasnt asked about it so

i dont think it matters.. and everything went well..

Hospital will supply you with maxi pads, so if you wnat tampons or

something less bulky, bring your own.
