I have been using the One A Day Woman's from Costco.

I take 3 of them per day.

I've found they've been repackaged, not discontinued.

I called the One Source company. They told me that they are now called

Advanced formula. But after comparing the vitamin and mineral levels the

advanced formula isn't as potent as the former formula. I'm on the hunt to

find one as potent as the high potency formula one source that we can no

longer get.

I believe they have just changed the packaging/label. I picked some

up a week ago and had to really look for them. They're there, though.

I'm sure any multi-vitamin is going to be fine. Just read the label and

compare to the One Source. Dr R just recommended the ones from Walmart

because they were inexpensive compared to " name brand " vitamins.

As a pharmacist, I can tell you that you should also look for vitamins that

carry the " USP-verified " label. I find this type of vitamin at BJs and

Costco, but other chains will carry labeled supplements as well. While

oversight on supplements by the FDA is poor, at least the USP labeled

products show you that the supplement contains what the manufacturer says it

contains. Many non-verified supplements are not consistent from batch to

batch. I think that in general, vitamins are a less of an issue than other

herbal type supplements, but buying those that are USP verified is

definitely your best bet. If the label says something like " pharmacist

approved " or other nonsense, ignore it. It means nothing. Hope this helps!
