Guest guest
I just got a call from 's husband, Doug, and she made it out of surgery this afternoon and was in recovery when he called. Dr. Aceves had called her room and told him that she did great. She wanted me to post as soon as I heard from her. Dr. Aceves worked his magic AGAIN! Doug said they are both impressed with the hospital and the staff....imagine that! I got a chance to go out to dinner with and Doug Monday night before they flew to San Diego early Tuesday morning. We had a great time and I was so thrilled to get to talk to them. It will be nice to have someone so close by! Talk about a small world, you know how she keeps mentioning that several of her cousins have had the bypass? Well, it ends up that one of her cousin's was the assistant principal at one of the schools in which I teach last year! Small world! Anyway, I just wanted to post that everything is great so far! Keep her in your thoughts! Jenni Currie
Guest guest
Hi, and I have been in contact through a RNY group, and I'm going to have it done on Monday. I was talking to Doug on the phone when Dr. Aceves called him. I was getting worried because it was after 3PM here and I hadn't heard how had done, so I called him. I come into Mexicali on Sunday, so and I will overlap by that one day. We'll meet face-to-face then. We're both in FL, but she's in the north, I'm in the south. We hope to get together after we've recuperated enough to do some traveling. As for , she's probably running up and down the halls by now, making all the nurses smile. She swore she was not going to have any pain! Hope she has a good first night. --Cat (My first post here - I've been a lurker, since most of you are banded. Doesn't seem that there are many RNY patients here, or am I wrong about that?) > > I just got a call from 's husband, Doug, and she made it out of > surgery this afternoon and was in recovery when he called.
