Guest guest
Hi Jenni, They sound pretty cool !! How $$$ were they if I dare ask!! -------------- Original message -------------- From: "giftedtch" <giftedtch@...> Maybe I am a little behind the times but I am so excited about my newest purchase that I want to share it with everyone! I have started running (going on my 4th week) and have been running a mile every day with less and less walking between laps of running. Anyway, I needed some good running shoes so I perused the internet before hitting the mall. Nike sells a shoe called Nike +. Have you heard of them? Well, I hadn't even though my son says there are commercials on TV about them all the time. The left shoe has a transmitter in it under the innersole and then I connect the wireless receiver to my iPod and it keeps up with milage, distance, calories burned, etc. etc. etc. Isn't that amazing????? I plan on using it first thing in the morning to see how many calories I am burning in my regular workout. Oh, it also has an audible voice that will tell you where you are in your workout. I just think this is cool! Jenni Currie DOB 2/23/06247/231/152/

Just curious - haven't seen that before.. Thanks Lori dob 11/10/06 249/235/
Guest guest
The first number, 247 was what I weighed when I decided to have the surgery. The next number is what I weighed when I had my surgery on Feb. 23. The 3rd number is what I weigh now and the last is my goal weight. I just like to do the four numbers to keep it all in perspective for no one but me. 5 more pounds and I will have lost 100 pounds since my heaviest weight and 7 more pounds, I will be at my goal weight. It's just a numbers thing for me. Sorry for the confusion. Guest guest
Ok....I'll tell YOU but you just can't tell my husband, the accountant! The shoes were $100 and the iPod sports kit was $26.00. Guess I can count this as a medical expense on my income taxes??? Jennirondana@... wrote: Hi Jenni, They sound pretty cool !! Guest guest
Oh, yes....my sons would get a kick out of that one! In fact, my 14 year old was with me when I bought them (he always goes shopping with me....I guess he wants to have a say in what I wear so I won't embarass him or something!! lol) and as we were walking to the car I asked him if he would go home and figure it out and teach me how to use the thing. I just would rather him show me than me have to read the instructions!!! Naturally, he figured it all out without having to read the instructions!! Guest guest
Jenni speaking of those numbers, are you typing them in each time or is there a way to set a signature line? If so please tell me how because I sure can't figure it out.
Guest guest
It certainly sounds medically necessary to me. What better way is there to monitor progress--than the old fashioned electronic gadget way! Guest guest
Again, being somewhat technologically slow, I don't know about setting up a signature line so I simply type those numbers in each time. That is why they only appear sometimes! lol I know there is a way to do that but I just haven't bothered. How are you feeling? Heading back to Mobile anytime soon? I'd love to get together again. Guest guest
Tell me what email programs you are using and I can help. If you are reading from the web, I am afraid there isn’t anything you can do. But if you are using outlook, outlook express, or mail, they do have signature options. Guest guest
Jenni we can get together some time soon, I really enjoyed it, but lets wait till I can eat real food again. I'm feeling great, had no problems, and got all my gas worked out before i hit the flight back home. Next time I'll be in Mobile will be either Wed the 7th or Thurs the 8th of Feb. Why don't you and your husband pull your dress up clothes out of the closet and go to the INCA ball with us? If nothing else you can come to the Auditorium parking lot on Friday the 9th, eeks that's right your in school, dumb bunny brain not working right today.
