Guest guest
I had the same experience you did. I am still really tight but I think I have finally figured out how to go about this for now!. My fill Dr. said not to worry if you can't eat until late afternoon or your evening meal. He really didn't even want me to have soups or other mushies at all but I just can't do any thing else before night and sometimes I can't eat solids at night either. Here's what I am doing now. I have a large cup of hot tea or Chai latte first thing in the morning (hot seems to work best) I might have to heat it up several times. It lasts for about 1-2 hours!. Then for lunch I can usually eat about 1/2-3/4 cup soup. Sometimes I can do like chicken noodle type but most of the time I have a cream of something soup. Then for dinner I use a small plate(like a small luncheon plate or saucer). I put a small amount of protein (like fish, chicken or I can sometimes do a hamburger kind of cassarole, I even have had steak and BBQ pork but it has to be a good day) maybe 1/4 C. or less and then an equal amount of vege like green beans and sometimes an equal amount of baked potato or salad. All of it should not amount to more than 1 C. I usually can't eat it all. During the afternoon I try to drink hot tea and/or as much water as I can (not more than 12 oz. usually). I eat dinner at about 6:30 and then wait about 1 hour before I start drinking water again. I do not eat any more and I stop drinking about 1/2-1 hour before I go to bed. That's about it for me except I also try to eat about 2 prunes sometimes during the day to keep me " regular " . I think I am going to go back to see my fill Dr. in about a month just to make sure I am not too tight. The PBing has settled down quite a bit but I kinow I am really tight! Guest guest
Thank you for your response! That really helps! I have been doing some research and I have decided that true to my style I keep eating once I am full. Today was a good day. I had liquids for breakfast. Cup of chili for lunch and veggies with a little basmati rice for dinner and stopped at the first sensation of fulness and I was fine. I just think I am pushing myself to keep eating and that is the problem. I think if I eat like you are eating I will be fine and I would rather have sensation of being restricted than no restriction at all. Thanks for the help!Penny Manville <pmanvill@...> wrote: I had the same experience you did. I am still reallytight but I think I have finally figured out how to goabout this for now!. Guest guest
Yes, I think that is my problem too. I eat too fast sometimes and don't realize until too late that I overdid it! NOT A GOOD THING. Now I wait for a minute or so between bites and that helps a LOT. At the first sign of a little pressure I quit and that is the ticket! Good Luck!
