Guest guest
I planted 10 year old carrot seeds and 5 year old beet seeds. They all came up happily. I planted them pretty thickly, think the seed would not be viable. Now I have to thin them out - yum! Planted old seeds and I am seeing cilantro growing or at least the seed package I attached there is saying that. It is super small still...1/64" to view. Gosh, amazing and so happy cause I planted it very recently too. So now I have cilantro row and a basil row near each other. The other garden is showing more basil. Thanks for letting me brag. Now if I can see lots of tomatoes I can enjoy: Cilantro Delight cilantro, celery, avocado, tomato, onion and garlic all put together in pulsing fashion into my Cuisinart Food Processor. Guest guest
Gayla, I hope Gloria is reading this so she can say yes to the old seeds I offered her--think they are from 2000 or maybe a year or two later...regardless...growing is growing to me....she can use these seeds and worry about keeping the animals out buying lumber or whatever instead of some seeds. Thanks for your confirmation and I don't even put mine in a cool place always but when I remember I do. CarolGayla <aeranch@...> wrote: I planted 10 year old carrot seeds and 5 year old beet seeds.
