Guest guest
Folks, This is just my 2 cents worth - unsolicited, from a guy who uses a lot of different chemical cleaners, deodorizers, acids, etc. First, let me say I have not even tried the product, but have used several others such as odor gone, ozium, odor ban, etc. I've not had the severe reaction that this lady describes, but have noticed definite differences in stregnth, and offer the following simple explanation (hypothesis): All spray odor removers or cover ups work by being airborne, that's why they're called aerosols. They work by falling through the air and comming in contact with the molecules of air, either giving they're own smell to cover the obectionable ones, or by grabbing hold of those molecules and carrying them (and the bad odors) to the floor. They are not meant to be directly inhaled - none of them. They are NOT oxygen replacements. If a person sprays the area FIRST, they would doubtlessly be doing it from a standing position, yes? The aerosol would then be applied at least 5 -6 ft from floor level - agreed? Maybe more if sprayed upward. If you immediately " become seated " your nostrils are then what, maybe 3 ft. above floor level? You would be directly inhaling the falling droplets of aerosol chemical. What would you expect from such a scenario? It's only a little better than shooting the stuff (any stuff) directly into you respiratory system!! Do what you came into do first, then use the sprays after the fact AS YOU LEAVE! Your tendency will be to spray down toward the commode, and in any event your on your way out, not on your way in to sit down into a cloud of chemicals you just sprayed. Bottom line is: ALL PRODUCTS must be used understanding what they are and how to safely use them. The spray-first-sit-second sequence is not such a way. OK, I've painted the target on my back - begin the barrage! Fyreye54
