It looks like you have good restriction with what you describe. Quantities seem appropriate and you stay full for a good amount of time.

It is normal to have PBing episodes especially after a fill while you get used to the new level of restriction but please avoid them.

If you conitnue at this pace and do not have liquids with your food or have high calorie liquids in between meals you will conitnue losing weight. It is important to measure yourself too to see how many inches you are losing.

Be patient, sometimes this happens for a couple of weeks and then BAM you see a movement in yoru scale, be patient. Remember you aim at losing 5 to 8 lbs a months so you may not be seeing weekly movements on the scale. Just conitnue following the rules and you will be fine and thin :)

OK Thanks Nina. I appreciate the info. What do I use to gage when another fill is needed? Will I just know? I'm inpatient to a fault and while I know it's not preferred, I want a fast result.

wrote: Nina, can you give me a simple explanation of what "restriction" feels like? I think its like describing a color, but HOW? I had a fill a 3 weeks ago. I don't eat much, maybe 1 cup -1.5 cup per sitting. I seem to be full for 2-3 hours, then i begin to wonder about food again. I had had far too many sliming and PB episodes, but I think they are from my own

fault. I wait too long and get REAL hungry and that first bite or two is too big or fast. WHAT PAIN THAT IS!! As far as volumn, i don't think i'm over eating, but I haven't lost any weight in about 8 days. In fact my weight fluctuates from 244.5 to 247. every few days. I'm getting kinda fussy. Hi ...

My name is Regina..You banded with my mom,Janice Flinchum..She spoke highly of you and Sara when she got back home...Just wanted to introduce myself...I was banded on 6/19/06..just 9 days past my 32nd b-day..best GIFT i could've given myself..take care

Hi Regina~ It's nice to meet you! Congratulations on your band! I sure wish I had done it at 32 instead of 50~ Your mom was great fun and encouragement during our stay in Mexicali. She spoke of you often and was excited for you to be next! I'm glad it worked out. Her weight loss has surely been better than mine. I'm 9 weeks out and still only lost 24 lbs. I was soo envious when she said her's had been over 40. But i'm making progress, just not as fast as i'd of liked. I have to keep reminding myself that his is an endurance run and not a sprint.

I'm glad you introduced yourself. Give my best to your mom and Jim and keep in touch! we are a select and fortunate group who have been able to make choices others only dream about. I try to never forget that!

:-)
