--- OH MY GOSH!! We had SO MUCH FUN!!

And I learned a lot about WHY I personally am so tight in the

mornings...and guess what?? I REALLY NEED to go for a morning

walk...it helps so much! I did the 5k on Saturday, most of it with

Jenni, but then she ran the last little bit, and running I DON'T

DO...not on my bum ankle. Anyway, after the walk, I had coffee, then

part of a protein bar a little later and no PB at all...I had been

having trouble prior to that just from the phlegm that builds up in

my pouch overnight. I also found I was eating too late at night, and

that also contributed to it. I learned so many things I didn't know

about my band, and so many " new " things and ideas have come along in

the 16 mos since I got mine also. This whole science is growing by

leaps and bounds and WE have doctors who are not just keeping up, but

who are taking the first steps to develop and perfect the techniques

in the first place...aren't we LUCKY???

It was great finally getting to meet Nina, Lucy, Mrs. A, and Dr.

Campos...since none of them were around back when I got

banded...Seems like Nina was on vacation or something...

It was so great to get to thank Dr. A in person and give him a big

hug...or 2 or 3....I am just so grateful for what has been given back

to me.

There was a lot of info on plastic surgery and I AM saving for some

of that too...

On Sat. night we had a wonderful dinner...altho nobody bothered to

explain to the wait staff that we would like our entree BEFORE our

salads...it was good food, and after a small misunderstanding with a

couple waiters, they were made to understand that THIS group DOES get

to take their leftovers along...lol.There were lots of raffle items (

I won a massage kit and watering can and rain gauge) and a great

auction. Then we had a before & after fashion show, dancing and

karaoke with a dj...lots of visiting and TREMENDOUS amounts of caring

support all around.

The vendors were also great and there was just so much information to

be gleaned.

I also got some very cute clothes in the clothing exchange...altho

not a whole lot, because...and oh, this was a GRAND NSV....there

weren't hardly any clothes SMALL ENOUGH for me!! has some pics

of me all dressed up in my SZ 6 outfit for the big party...I am sure

she will post some later...oh, I guess did post one of a

bunch of us with Dr. A's team...but I had a sweater on in that one

too. I am SO GOING to next years bash up there as well!

Is the Seattle banders Bash going to be an annual event?? Great location for me - easy flight down from Vancouver Island, and it sounds like perfect support. Norm

Hey Everyone,

I finally have a second to post now that The Bash is over. Wow!

What a weekend! It was so great seeing Dr Aceves, Mrs Aceves, Nina,

, Dr Campos, and the whole gang. Dr Aceves did such a

great job speaking on Slippages. I had several come up to me and

say " I love your Dr, he is so nice " . Don't we all! Eileen,

and Jenni, you guys are awesome. It was so good to get to know you.

I just wish I had more time in between my Registration duties Next

year I am going to just play and hang out :0)

Jenni, I love my Dr Aceves Bandster shirts. Anyone interested you

should really hook up with Jenni. She created some adorable Dr

Aceves T-shirts. I bought 3 at $20 each. Jenni, I will get that

check in the mail this week! I may want more :0)

It was also great seeing Sheila and hubby, Marchelle, ,

, Vicki, Sue, Diane and all the other Dr Aceves bandsters. I

am sure I am forgettign several. Sorry! I loved meeting you all.

The Bash was a great educational event. I learned so much.

I also got a very tight fill and I am back to my goal of 133 lbs. I

have been unfilled since before Christmas and was enjoying my food a

little too much :0) Gotta love the band! It took me 1 week of

having a good fill and I am back on track.

I hope you are all well. I will defiantely be checking in with you

all more often now that things have slowed down. I do lurk all the

time and love to read about all your progress.

If ever any of you are in Seattle please let me know. I would love

to meet you.

Eileen, lets get together soon!

God Bless,

Gross, LMP

Hey Dawnita,

I forgot to mention you in my last post it was great meeting you too.

You and all the gang were just beautiful. I am proud of you and the

whole Aceves group. I know with all the support we have and the best

Dr we are all at an advantage to many others I met. This whole

expereince has been sooo motivational for me and my Family.

Hi :

It was great seeing you again also. Even on our SOUP NIGHT get-

togethers I don't get to talk to you much. I guess that means we

need to do one just with each other. I have a great picture of you

and your daughter. I will email it to you.

Let's get together...just say where and when and I am there. I am

really needing a massage but then you would be working....again. You

did a FABULOUS job at the bash, . You worked SO hard, and a lot

of your " duties " were not what you signed up for (if you know what I

mean)!! Hope you are relaxing this weekend.

Talk to you soon.

Hey Eileen,

Good to hear from you! I have an idea. I supervise the Student

Clinic at the massage school in April and May. You should come in

and get a massage and honey foot rub from one of my students and then

we can do lunch? That way we can hang out and you can get a massage

too?

I am sure we will see each other at The Soup night too. I hope to go

to the next one. Let me know when you are going and maybe we can

hook up early and visit?

I had so much fun with you at The Bash!

You look great!!

Please keep in touch and lets get together soon.

Take Care,
