I don't know about divers but I know we are not allowed to give benedryl to my daughter as she is on dijoxin but......I do know that it opens up the kids passages and helps them breath better. We have to give it too a couple of the kids as theyare prone to ear infections and the benedryl helps keep the Eustachian tubes open so they can't get "clogged" up and the necessary fluids can drain properly.

Janet, My DH has benedryl on him always.. he is allergic to bees, wasps...etc... It works quick... and since I can't get him to try much else... it's one of the few "drugs" we have in the house. Yes, and that is exactly what it is meant

for – severe allergic reactions, not vasodilation. Ephedra wasn’t

meant to be an upper either, but that is how people misused it and then they

try and blame the drug/herb? Seems like people don’t like to take

responsibility for themselves anymore.

My daughter has allergies but we never knew how badly until a couple of

years ago when we were at my brother's house in the country. She

went outside to keep an eye on a couple of very young cousins who were

playing in a field next to the house, but within five minutes was back in

the house, eyes swelling shut and wheezing. She started into

anaphylactic (sp) shock, and the only thing an MD and an RN at the house

could do was pour a bottle of liquid Benedryl down her throat on our way

to the hospital ER. That bottle of Benedryl saved her life, because

an ambulance would have never made it to us in time. We keep Epi

pens now, one at each end of the house and one in my purse and in her

purse no matter where we go. When she is in school the school nurse

also has an Epi pen available and is well aware of my daughter's class

schedule for each day. You only have to see your child go through

something like that once to realize there are times that certain drugs

can and will save lives.

We followed up that episode with a visit to an allergy specialist for

tests. They pricked my daughter's back in 99 places and before they

could drop the different allergens on one-third of those pin pricks she

was swelling up all over and having trouble breathing to the point they

stopped the test and rolled in a crash cart. Three specialists sat

in that room with us for over two hours, swabbing her down with alcohol

to get the stuff off and taking her vital signs before they felt

comfortable enough to let us go.

All three said they had never seen anything like it. I'd wear an

Epi pen around my neck if it came with such a holder, LOL -

This is because the so called powers that be have brainwashed us all

into believing that we are not capable of being responsible for

ourselves. Therefore, we need the government, doctors, lawyers and drug

companies to be responsible for us.

preserve. " Who wants to preserve their disease/sickness? The drug
