Guest guest
What are you making that you need a fancy blender for? I got a great blender from freecycle. Glass jar and all. Sure suits my needs and the price was right. A juicer, blender and food processor are all I need. Gloria
Guest guest
I don't have occasion to use ice. What are you making that you need a fancy blender for? I know the Vitamix is very good, but they are expensive. I know its about choices however. I have even seen Costco now having demos from Vitamix as part of their traveling tours that Costco sponsors. I'm a hugh fan of Costco for many reasons: save receipt, no problems ever with the return. Now Vitamix may be lifetime warranty, but can't speak like our other Carol M can. Regardless for me being mainly raw all these years, I haven't seen the need for the Vitamix, but many have. I have had a Bosch bread machine way back, don't make breads any longer and they do have a blender attachment which I do use with a strong motor too. These days, Tribest Personal Blender is my best friend, but you can't pulse like a blender. Very simple, light weight and easy to use for my personal needs. Does a great job. It is limited in how much you can blend so if you are looking to do a large batch of something the Tribest is not the best choice. It's a personal preference too. carolg Carol Minnick <carolminnick@...> wrote: Kathy – get a Vita Mix, you will never burn out a motor in one of those turbo blenders! If anyone is interested in buying one, use the code #06-001715 and you’ll receive free shipping.
