Guest guest
A friend of mine sent me this formula he's been taking. Cilantro is about the only herb/spice I don't like but I got some organic cilantro today and am making this anyway. To detox heavy metals from the system: Blend together: 1 cup cilantro 6 tbsp. olive oil Add: 1 clove garlic 1/2 cup almonds 2 tbsp. lemon juice Blend everything to a paste (may need to add a little water). Take 2 tsp. a day for 3 weeks. Gloria
Guest guest
How's it taste??? Actually it's not bad at all. I'm surprised since I really dislike the taste of cilantro. I think it tastes like soap. I put the whole mixture in a food processor with added water. The lemon seems to cut the taste of the cilantro and I can actually see myself eating 2 tsp. a day of this stuff. Just made a huge glass of juice...tomato, green pepper, celery, carrots, cucumber, onion and swiss chard. And threw some Super Food in it. Yummy!! A couple days ago I overheard some of my co-workers talking to a client about me. The client had asked how I stayed so skinny and I heard them tell her I eat nothing but grass. One co-worker then said..."No, I'm not kidding. She literally eats grass!". I thought of all my pots of wheatgrass growing all over the windowsills at home and thought they don't know the half of it!! I also drink grass!! LOL! Guest guest
The cilantro is the herb that does the cleansing. You can make a green sauce with tomatillos or even a pico de gallo which both include cilantro Hi there Toni! Glad to hear there is a real purpose for the cilantro. I didn't know it was cleansing. I used to work at a Mexican restaurant and they put cilantro in their pico de gallo and salsas. Back then I didn't seem to mind the taste but have since learned to hate it. The metal detox stuff isn't bad, though. Gloria
Guest guest
And to think we used to smoke it! LOL *** couldn't resist!*** And back then I hated it! I used to say smoking grass tasted like eating dirt! I'm probably the only one who believed Bill Clinton when he said he didn't inhale, because I didn't inhale either! I used to pretend I liked it (I wanted to fit in), but actually just sucked in the smoke and blew it right out again. LOL! Gloria
