Anybody else having surgery March 7?

I changed my date and I was wondering if anyone else is having their

surgery on March 7. I'd love to hear from you if you are!

I'd go March 7th if I could! Can you all tell me how to make contact with the people who schedule the cases/surgeries? I can't find the info on the OH site, though I thought I had seen the info my first visit to the website. I made the decision, thanks to all of you, to do the lap band surgery. Now, I don't want to wait! I am so anxious to get started. Actually, from what I've read from you all, it sounds horrible - "starving", gas, gas pain, broth and jello, etc. I wish I could be off work for a couple of months, but probably will take a total of 2 weeks.

Anyway, if someone would point me to where I can look for contact information, I'd appreciate it. And a brief list of what I will need to do before I can go for surgery??? Tests? Interview or exam to verify I meet criteria? Physician referral from my primary care doc? Thanks VERY MUCH! Phyllis D.

Thank you! I emailed her this a.m., got a response and forms back pretty quickly. I've filled them out and sent them back to Nina. I'm ready and anxious to get going. Thanks for the info. Thank you! I've emailed and she has responded - already! I filled out the pre-op questionnaires and sent them in. I feel like I've taken that first, tentative step. Next, after getting a surgery date, I have to decide whether to tell my boss what I'm really having done or try to explain why I'm not "having my gallbladder out" at one of our two hospitals! Yup - I work for a hospital system so it's gonna be hard to go do this without everyone knowing. Since my boss is a doctor, I know he'll understand, so maybe I should just bring him into my confidence. I just don't want everyone watching to see if I lose any weight or watching what I eat. I think everyone pretty well understands that! Thanks again for the contact info. Phyllis
