Guest guest
I had surgery on June 8th. Canal Wall Down. Anyway, right above the top of my ear (about 3/4 of an inch to a full inch above) on the side of my head when I rub it and I hear a squishy kind of water/fluid sound. There may be a little swelling but not much. There is no pain. What can this be? This worries me. Thanks, Brad
Guest guest
Is there swelling or is it just wiggly? The tissue gets pretty abused during surgery, held back by a retractor, and sometimes fascia is borrowed from that area to use in repair work. So, that could be normal. If there is a lump, though, I would call to make sure there is not an infectd abcess. I would also stop rubbing it, so you don't further irritate it. Guest guest
Hi Brad, I had my surgery May 25th, and had the same thing for about 4-5 days. It almost sounded like a crackling when I pushed down. Anyway, it went away, as the swelling went down, I'm sure yours will be improving soon.
