a lift recliner downstairs in our family room. I sleep there and

use a lift chair because my knees are real bad. Additionally I have

nerve pain in my feet from diabetes. I also am on Warfan.

Currently my walking is from my chair to the bathroom; from my chair

to the computer and from my chair to the kitchen. I try to make one

of those moves every hour to hour 1/2. Today I went with my husband

to Home Depot. That entailed walking to the truck, my scooter at

home depot, and walking back into the house.

just to stand. On the good days I try to walk more. I have a

neighbor that just started coming after work to lotion my feet and

legs and massage my feet. They have felt better this last week then

they have in a long time.

will take a lot of the stress off my knees and feet and make walking

a whole lot easier. As I have a history of blood clots I

know...more than anyone else...how vital walking will be to my

recovery.
