Guest guest
For every 5 apples run through the juicer, run 1 small (or 1/2 large) organic lemon (rind and all) through the juicer. I also add a tiny sliver of beet for pink lemonade. Taste for preference. I usually end up adjusting the amounts. Shari
Guest guest
I just made a new concoction tonight. I drink A LOT of homemade iced Green Tea in the summer. I brewed about 10 cups of organic green tea on the stove. Let it sit (covered with no flame under it) for a couple hours to get nice and strong. Then when it cooled down enough I strained it and added the juice of 2 lemons and 2 oranges. Then I juiced 3 apples and a mango and threw that juice in the tea. Poured it all in a gallon glass jar and put it in the fridge. Really yummy! Gloria
Guest guest
"Is this for quart, gallon, glass?" None of the above, it's per 5 apples. It's sort of a taste thing. I usually run 5 apples through and then 1/2 lemon and taste. Take it from there. Apples are so expensive right now I won't be making lemonade. Lemons aren't much better in Washington state. I think they are around 99 cents apiece, organic and that's a great deal. They sometimes get over $1.00 per hard, thick skinned, dry lemon!!!
