Guest guest
Hi Rik, I would suggest that you read Dr. Hal Huggins book "It's All In Your Head" to learn of amalgam fillings/root canals/cavitations, etc. I have been plagued with the problems of mercury poisoning since I began having amalgam fillings as a young child. Two years ago I went to Tijuana, Mexico to see a biological dentist Dr. Juvier Morales who had worked under the guidance of Dr. Huggins in their Mexico clinic. You can read more about his work on http://www.bikerchick.freehomepage.com/ After getting estimates from a local dentist, I was able to get the work done for less than 1/3rd of the cost by going to Mexico. This includes the plane fare from San for two visits, the motel, and all meals. It was the first time I ever felt great after leaving a dentists office. And please do not try any detox/chelation as long as you still have any mercury fillings in your mouth. This includes the cilantro recipe, the hot baths, etc. or anything else before you have them removed. I did this and got very sick because of it. Now I am doing the detox with supplements, Masters Miracle hot baths, essential oils, coconut oil and eliminating any grains from my diet. It's a slow process, but I feel a lot better after having the amalgams replaced, root canals removed, cavitations cleaned out. Guest guest
dear annette, do you have amalgams? what resources have you studied regarding detox protocols? my experience and understanding is taht detoxing can be very dangerous if not done correctly for your unique condition, and it seesm there is a lot of misinfo and partial info floating around, including among doctors. i found andrew cutler's book Amalgam Illness very useful http://www.noamalgam.com and the online support group for this protocol has highly knowledgeable people. frequent-dose-chelation/ (as well as support group for parents of autistic children who are mercury toxic) sincerely, kendra
Guest guest
Hi Kendra, I was going to have my hair tested for mercury once, don't know if this is an accurate test, Greenpeace does it for $25. which at least is not a lot of money. I didn't know if testing for mercuy in general also tests for mercury from amalgams (of which I have a mouthful!). Do you know? And thanks for these links which now I know where I can get some info. ellen > > dear annette, > do you have amalgams? what resources have you studied regarding detox > protocols? > > my experience and understanding is taht detoxing can be very dangerous if > not done correctly for your unique condition, and it seesm there is a lot of > misinfo and partial info floating around, including among doctors. i found > andrew cutler's book Amalgam Illness very useful http://www.noamalgam.com > and the online support group for this protocol has highly knowledgeable > people. frequent-dose-chelation/ (as > well as support group for parents of autistic children who are mercury > toxic) > > sincerely, > kendra >
Guest guest
Hi Kendra Thanks very much for the link - it's not working at the moment but I'll keep trying it. I've not got any amalgams. My biggest problem is with lead, probably from living near to a very busy road as a child. I'm hopeful that once it's sorted out I'll be able to start some proper treatment for Lyme. Best wishes Annette
Guest guest
Hi Annette, I also had problems with lead (and still have, I think). I used Phospholipid Exchange for that, but I think I still have some lead because when I use heavy metal mobilizing stuff like NDF, I have some lung pressure (my main lead poisoning symptom). Watch out if you try to do metal detox by yourself. Keep someone informed (a professional) so that you may get help in case you need. You can treat both metal intoxication and lyme together (I always did and still do). At least, I try to keep my lyme symptoms down to do the metal cleansing. Guest guest
Thanks Selma. I've not heard of Phospholipid Exchange but I'll look it up. My kinesiologist & acupuncturist are both keeping an eye on me at the moment & trying to give as much support as they can to my liver & kidneys. I've stopped trying to kill borrelia for now as I'm not able to deal with the toxins on top of the heavy metal detox - slow & frustrating process, but I'll keep chipping away. Best wishes Annette > > Hi Annette, > > I also had problems with lead (and still have, I think). > > I used Phospholipid Exchange for that, but I think I still have some > lead because when I use heavy metal mobilizing stuff like NDF, I have > some lung pressure (my main lead poisoning symptom). > > Watch out if you try to do metal detox by yourself.
