Summer Camp at The Painted Turtle

Hi Everyone!

I just wanted to send a quick e-mail and let you all know a few things:

The camp is August 11 through the 16th. Applications are available on line at

www.lpaonline.org

1) If you receiving this e-mail then Jill Mellor at camp have

received your camp application. Thank you!

The staff at camp will review the applications during the month of May and begin

to send official acceptance letters and camp packets in late May. The Painted

Turtle makes the final determination on campers. We accept campers on a

first-come, first-served basis, however camp makes the final determination as

there may be things that they look for (vaccinations, medical insurance, etc...)

that need to be verified before being able to accept a camper.

This is always one of my favorite times of years as camp applications come

pouring in. Some numbers so far:

A) We have received about 90 applications from 19 different states and

Canada. Forty-three applications are from California, with the others being

made up of the other states.

The applications are evenly split between boy and girls.

C) Ages 7, 8 and 9 – 17 apps.

D) Ages 10, 11, 12, 13 – 30 apps.

E) Ages 14, 15 and 16 - 43 apps.

Theoretically, we have 30 spots left to fill, so please let any friends you

think might be interested know about the camp. We aim for a full camp session

each year!
