At almost 11 mos out, it still is for me. My boyfriend and I refer to it as

" my alien " .

It speaks up at the most inopportune moments, very loudly, I might add.

I have actually been " scolded " about it at work because it is so loud

sometimes that people on the other end of group phone conferences can hear it. I

have

been told that it sounds unprofessional and I'd better seek out a medication

to control it. But with the way things are going on at work these days, my

time there is limited anyway so I'm not overly concerned about it right now.

However, if it happens during any job interviews, it may be an issue!

My favorite Dr. R. reply is the one he gave us at our clinic - someone asked

about healing time or something like that and he said " you've had a strange

man stab you five times and alter your insides - it will take a little time

to heal that " - He is a funny man! I love his sense of humor!
