Star of Bethlehem neutralizes the effect of trauma. Sweet Chestnut: This Essence helps you when you feel hopeless despair. You feel a intense sorrow and feel almost destroyed by it. You may feel on the point of nervous breakdown. Sweet Chestnut helps us to feel a sense of optimism and peace of mind. Guest guest
Thank you Gayla. I can't seem to think straight or read books right now. I appreciate your suggestions and will take them tonight. I'm trying to meditate now. I've set up a little memorial to Paris. Her baby picture an older picture and candles on a cleared area. Just sitting helps. I'm exhausted. > > > Here is a site that may help you to decide. > http://www.bachflower.com/38_Essences.htm > > Star of Bethlehem: This Essence helps you when you have been through an > traumatic experience both during and after, even an experience that have > happened when you were a child. Guest guest
I am so sorry for your loss Dolly... wish I were there for you. But knowing she is now watching over you is a comfort and she is in no pain. Try Star of Bethlehem or maybe olive also.. Put some lavendar in your pillow tonite also. My thoughts are with you. My companion of almost twelve years died last night shortly after 9 pm eastern time. Most of my mother's cat companions lived twenty years. (My parents are long deceased.) I believe it was neoplastic cancer that took Paris. I took her in for an enema yesterday morning and she quickly deteriorated throughout the day. Everything I did she did with me. I mean everything. I have extended family (some cousins) but no one close and no close friends here I can call on. I am going to light a candle for my siamese baby tonight. Her name is Paris. Please think a good thought for her around that time if you can. I was raised with siamese cats and this one truly had a special spirit. She was very close. When she was a baby I awoke one night and there was a somewhat dark woman standing beside my bed who appeared as though she might be deformed - I knew it was my cat Paris. That is the only time I saw her in that form. I have never mourned like this for a person or another animal. My head is horribly achy. I took her body to be cremated. The process will take place this evening. I know she is in God's hands, at least I keep telling myself that. I can't think for myself right now. I have a set of Bach Flowers. Someone please suggest for me. I have to go to work tomorrow afternoon and I have to get control of myself. Thank you. - peace (doll) How low will we go? Guest guest
You know she will always be with you. Just her body was worn out. She will always be around and sometimes you will see her. Thank you. - peace (doll) ================================ Hi Dolly, I am so sorry to hear about your losing Paris. I truly know and understand how difficult and painful that loss is. My heart goes out to you and you are in my thoughts and prayers. I believe that Gayla gave you some sound advice on the Bach formulas to take. Star of Bethlehem would be very good for you at this time as would the Sweet Chestnut. I trust you will find peace within Dolly. Allow yourself to feel and let go of the emotions. Let them out. This will be a cleansing time for you. I would suggest also that you not eat for a day or two. Traumas like this, any trauma actually, shuts down the digestive system and you will only do yourself more harm than good if you eat anything. This is a good time for you to allow your body the time it needs to re-harmonize and come back into balance. Again I am very sorry for your loss Dolly. Peace be with you Dolly, Don

Guest guest
Thank you Gayla. I worry that she is alright, and I know that is silly. I feel selfish too. She gave me such unconditional love and support through everything...and it has been tough these last years. The odd thing, on two occassions since her passing I felt like my mother was alive and I had to call and let her know. I've never felt the need to contact my mother. My mother died before Paris came into my life. My only family is a brother up north. I called and left a message letting him know. I didn't expect him to return the call, but he did last night. And at the end of our conversation he told me he loved me. I had to lose my companion for my brother to be able to say that... I put both the sweet chestnut and star of bethlehem in a glass and have been taking sips. I need to leave for work in half an hour so I need to get things together. I kept getting up during the night. I feel like if I leave the apartment I will be deserting her and I feel bad about that too. I'm thinking so illogically right now. There are people all over the world in dire straights. Children who are alone and dying, the hungry, and here I am mourning ridiculously over a little siamese cat that was the world to me. Thank you for your help. - Doll > > You know she will always be with you. Just her body was worn out. She will > always be around and sometimes you will see her. Please don't mourn. Guest guest
Our hearts are with you! I will personally and specifically keep you in prayer during this difficult time. She will be waiting for you, ready to welcome you Home. Paris will always be with you, and through you, with us. She is eternal.
