Guest guest Posted August 28, 2004 Report Share Posted August 28, 2004 HI, I had lost 130 lbs. and in the past 15 months have gained 10 lbs. back. I have slipped back into some old eating patterns and realize that I have to start eating healthier once again. Working on it, but realize that old habits never really die, they can and do raise their ugly heads every now and then. This surgery is a tool and not to be taken for granted. I never want to go back to the way I was, never....I did this to become healthier, and I accomplished that and much more. I now have a life!!! I've gone from being an observer to being a participant in life, and it was long overdue. I appreciate each and every day, it's great to be alive, despite its ups and downs. You have done fantastic since your surgery and I wish you the very best! You have so much to look forward to....
