Hi there ladies. My name is and I'm in my third week. Yes,

the smell of food drove me crazy too. Not to mention that every

single commercial on TV is about food. Regarding the shoulder

pain. For me it was sporatic through the first two weeks and then

pretty much went away. That is until yesterday when it reared it's

ugly head again. From what I've read previously, the shoulder pain

can last as long as three weeks. So hang in there. .

Hi all, so let me get this straight. the shoulder pain isnt from gas

then? because if people are having it a long time out then it has to

be something different from gas. is it because the band and pouch

are up by your heart? that is kind of scary to me! It isnt putting

stress on your heart area is it? I thought the shoulder pain was

from the gases? or is it from just having a foregn object up in your

chest cavaty?

mmm I am curious. because as far as pain, that is the only thing I

have experienced and it sucks!

well I am off to bed. tomorrow I need to do something, today I

lounged around and I had a harder time wanting to eat, so tomorrow I

need to occupy the mind more!

Hi . As far as I know, the shoulder pain is from gas only.

At a little over three weeks, I am still very swollen in the tummy

area and still experiencing gas occasionally. Some of my new gas is

from the protein shakes too. Much to my boyfriends delight! He

thinks it's hilarious. .

, Hi....Yes the shoulder pain is from the gas used in surgery. I don't know why she still gets it. She also said after sitting all day (she's a drive instructor) it flairs up too!? She gets pains under her left breast/side after sitting to long or after eating sometimes still too so who knows?? Hope yours goes away sooner rather than later!! Dana

Thanks Dana, mine was bad again today, and we were getting ready to

go for a walk, but my mom came over to visit me so I missed that

opprotunity. But I still walked around alot when we went to town.

so walking is the best way to get it out of your system? K, I will

try walking more.

thanks,

, Don't forget that liquid tylenol, it seemed to take the edge off when my shoulder pain was getting the best of me! But honestly, walking and laying on my right side helped alot. And I do remember someone posting about the diaphragm in the past as well as recently so that is probably why my daughter still feels it. Hope all is well...Dana
