Guest guest
Hi Lillie, Welcome. It sounds to me like you are new to the band. I suggest you do 2 things that will help you tremendously in your search. 1. go to 's web site and read about her experience and see the photos. She also has a FAQ section you can get a lot of info from. http://www.tracyslapband.com 2. Go to Amazon.com and buy Jessie Ahroni's book: Laparoscopic Adjustable Gastric Banding: Achieving Permanent Weight Loss with Minimally Invasive Surgery Jessie had her band done in Mexico almost 8 years ago. Her book is a simple but complete guide to the band. It answers all your questions. Good luck with your research. 7/18/05 280/180/

Guest guest
You get a fill, when you began feeling hungry. You can schedule a feel in Mexicali. If you are driving in you can go anytime, but if you are flying in you have to check with Nina to see when the next fill is scheduled. You can also go to another Dr. that does fills in your area, but usually they are a little more expensive. Any how that is what I have read, personally I haven't looked into going to anyone else for a fill. There is information on Dr. A website about the lap-band and fills. Good luck on your decision. Guest guest
Hi Lillie. My name is . I am scheduled for September 18th. I was concerned about Mexico too. When they told me they would pick me up at the airport, I pictured an old school bus with chickens on it. How stupid and antiquated was I? What a silly thought and I offended myself by even thinking it. I have done a lot of research on Mexico and especially Dr. A. And now, I would prefer to go to Mexico instead of having it in the states. Of course, I am not speaking from experience yet. If you contact Nina, she will forward all sorts of information for you to read and watch. Also, Google it. That's how I started. There is so much for you to know about. I had no idea what a fill was either when I first starting looking. And talking to these folks who have been through it is by far the best way to get your info. Now, I believe I am as educated and prepaired as possible so I can really make this work for me. I hope you find your answers Lillie. Good luck to you. . > > Hi, > My name is Lillie H. and I am seriously considering the Lap Band > procedure.
