Guest guest
Change Your Colors, Change Your LifeBy Cait , author of Earth, Water, Fire, and Air If you want a makeover--a fresh start, a new outlook, an energized zing for spring--take a hint from Mother Nature (even now in the midst of her own marvelous transformation) and let color give you just the right helping hand. Want to feel more relaxed? Less angry? More motivated, passionate, or creative? Find out which colors will help you make the attitude adjustment that spring calls for from each of us. Set an intention with color, starting here: First, give some thought to the feeling or quality you most want to embody in the warmer months ahead. Then see which colors will help you attain it. Wear them, surround yourself with them, or use them as a focus for meditation. For greater ease, relaxation, serenity: pale pinks, blues, lavender, soft gray (if you are depressed or low on energy, you may want to shift your color scheme away from these) For more fierce energy and passion: reds (if you have anger issues, you may want to avoid this color) For more motivation, drive, will: yellow-gold, orange (if you’re a type A on the verge of burnout, steer clear of orange) For more brain power and ability to concentrate: clear yellow For more creativity, growth, optimism: greens For a sense of protection, clarity, fresh start: white For greater awareness, empowerment, and dignity: purple Suzi What is a weed?
