The regular bricks from Dry and Store must be discarded. Don't try to heat them

in the oven. Someone said that there's a metal descant somewhere that fits into

the Global Dry and Store. I have the original model (bought it a long time ago)

so I don't know anything about a metal descant that can be put in the oven.

I'll need someone else to send us details on that.

Alice

I thought I have to replace the dry-brik when the blue dot turn pink that on

the dry brik? Do we really can recharge the dry brik? Anybody know? Debbie

The dessicant that came in the metal tin is the one that we cn still put

in the oven to reuse as needed. Apparently, this tin can also be put in the

D & S; however, then there seems to be so little room for the processor! The

briks that are bought for the D & S are NOT reusable. They cannot be restored in

the oven and we are not supposed to take the plastic off of them.

Something has gone wrong with my D & S (the blue light no longer comes on)

so I contacted the company. Stacie, the head of helping consumers has been

wonderful and prompt in her replies via email. I am a little disappointed that

I had to pay for shipping a product still under warrantee but I guess that is

because Cochear has spoiled me! LOL

Alice,

The Advanced Bionics comes with a storage case which has a metal

cannister to absorb the moisture. They recommend putting this metal cannister

in

the oven when the color of the chemical inside turns from blue or dark to pink.

I would think that whomever wrote about this process was referring to this

storage device.

My wife and I were discussing just how wonderful these devices are.

Several months ago she was deaf. Today, she can hear. Not everything and not

as well as before. However, each day does indeed get better, as you and

others in the group said it would.

I want to thank each and every person for your postings. You don't

know how many people you help. I am not a regular " poster, " but I read every

post and greatly appreciate the help we have received from the information made

available in this group. What could have been a terribly frightening

experience into the unknown, became just a nervous one, with knowledge about the

experiences of others who have already been there.

Sincerely,

Ron
