Personally haven't owned a microwave for 10 years or so and when I did have one hardly used it. Didn't like the way it made me feel when I stood near it. I've never owned one but they have one at work and I leave the room when someone uses it. I once made a pot of lentil soup for a friend. When I took it to her house she asked if I'd like to stay for dinner and share some of the soup. I said "sure", since there was quite a lot. She reheated it in her microwave and I swear to God this tasted nothing at all like the original soup I made! Now I always ask people to please reheat my soup on the stove, NOT the microwave before they eat it. Hey guys...Happy Easter!! We found out long, long ago that It disrupts the white blood cells.
