, It's so great to hear from you. Sent me your kids, I have plenty of Jello I took my stitches out today, did you? No problem only one was just slightly tight. Actually it was a breeze! The board really HAS grown lately! I had some distractions and haven't spent much time reading. Now I see quite a few new people. I'm still pretty new myself. My surgery had to be postponed as I developed flu/bronchitis (kind of all at once!). I'm rescheduled now for April 22 - 1 week after my birthday - so guess this is another BD gift to myself. Anyone going to be there 21-22-23? My dear friend who was going to be with me has a conflict for my new date. So, I think I'll just travel alone. Might be easier since I won't have to worry about anyone but myself. I can't wait!! Congratulations to all the brand new bandsters of the past couple of weeks! Phyllis

Hi Phyllis, I know its funny how we are all excited to have surgery or had surgery. I got a great thing for you to leave at the hospital......Leave 10 pounds at the entrance!!! LOL Hey, When did you get your pre-op diet?? I really want to try and lose some weight before surgery and I sure wish someone could send me it. I just went to Walmart today and spent $25.00 on Slimfast to see if I can drop some pounds. I heard the higher your BMI the longer Dr. A wants us on the diet. My BMI I think was 42. Hi Jess, Thats sucks!! Did you call maybe Nina or the hospital to see if someone found it?? Hopefully someone picked it up and is waiting to see if anyone calls to find out whose it was. Tammy I. I'd love to leave 10# at the door! Hey, got ya beat - I'm such a blimp - my BMI is about 49. I'm just too short for my wt.! Ha.

I didn't receive a diet. I've just followed the instructions to go low fat, low carb. The ratio looked like "The Zone" - 40% protein, 30% fat, 30% carb and am focusing mostly on fish, lean chicken (boneless, skinless breast), low fat-low carb yogurt - stuff like that. I spotted an email I haven't opened yet from someone connected with the program about doing a "tutorial". If there's a preop diet in there, I'll send it to you. I'll get to it some time tonight. PD
