Herbal healing salve You will need to make this in a glass pot such as Visionware, use the largest one you can find with a lid. You will also need small jars with lids such as babyfood jars. You will need a jelly bag or REAL cheesecloth (much like a quality cloth napkin, not the 'cheesy cheesecloth' you get in the stores) or small strainer.Fill glass pot 7/8 full of a high quality oil such as olive oil.Add 2 handfuls of Comfrey leaves,2 handfuls of Plaintain leaves,1/2 handful and some of Pard d'Arco,1 handful Echinachea,1 handful Mullien,1 handful and 1/4 of Marigold flowers ( Calundula variety/species)Put lid on and simmer, lid is very important as to not lose any qualities of the flowers and herbs. Stir every hour. Until you think it is done. Or about 3-8 hrs.

Pour through strainer, jelly bag or cheesecloth and squeeze until only the 'pulp' remains. Cool and add 1 Tb Cayanne Pepper. While it is cooling add as much beeswax as to the consistancy you desire. Add as many herbs as you like. You can have as few as 1 herb or as many as 30, it is up to you. For a healing salve, this heals a person (or animal) much faster than Neosporin.Suggestions/Hints:Oregon Grape root is a substitute for Golden Seal.Comfrey leaves: Soothing and healing. Can get slippery Pard d'Arco: Builds the immune system, anti-yeastPlaintain: for cuts, burns and

bruising, has antibacterial propertiesMullien: healing and soothing.Marigold( Calundula): soothing, chapping, antibacterialCayenne Pepper: stems bleeding, cauterizes without hurting, antibioticproperties, stimulates circulation Non-hybrid plants are always betterMany antiseptic herbs are high in Sulfur, ie garlic and onions Anti-Viral: Golden seal (but not for diabetics) Anti-Bacterial: Sage, Rosemary, Thyme, Mustard Disinfects: Mustard Suzi What is a weed? A plant whose virtues have not yet been discovered.
