Guest guest Posted December 22, 2003 Report Share Posted December 22, 2003 Hi Shani, I had my CI surgery November 4th, 2003. My hook up was on Dec 16th. I have some of the same experiences as you. The plastic bags are not comfortable to hear right now, and the running water too. I love hearing typing sounds it is clear and crisp. Im a data entry operator. I enjoy hearing myself type at work. Voices still sound funny, but becoming more human. On day one, every single sound I heard sounded like a foghorn. LOL. On day 2, I loved the silverware noises. So musical. Did you hear that too? Day 4, The music is interesting. I heard pitches I never heard before. It is becoming more clear each day. I love music now, my brain is learning the pitches from the music. I am not comfortable with soft music yet. I like the beating, like trance (electronica) music. That helps me to listen. It gets better each day! My ID is Newsound38.
