I live in Mt. Vernon,Wa.

I wondered this same thing. I got on the phone, called every listed

place for fills, and found out very quickly that many and I mean

many of the NW docs won't touch you if you were a Mexico patient. I

found out that Fox and Neal will do it. I called the Arlington

person several times and never heard back. There is also a doc in

Edmond's named Chablis (sp??), that does MEX bandsters. He wont do

me because I have a VG band. A dear friend of mine has a HP/LV type

band and she loves him. He is her after care and fill doc.

The way I figure.. it is nearly as expensive to go back to DR. A. as

it is to have a local doc do it. That is what I am doing on the 20Th

of Nov. $380 with flight, hotel, and car.

Good luck. I was seriously discouraged.

Hey Tim,

You should try the Arlington again. They are wonderful and only cost $150 for the first visit and $125 after that.

My daughter Amy and my husband both got a fill there recently and I got an unfill. The care was great. I am very surprised you are having trouble getting a call back. I wonder if you have the right number.

Try Kitty Carmichael @ Fill Management Northwest-360-435-5365

Good luck!

dear tim, we are practically neighbors. i live in la conner. i was

just banded on 10/27 so i am only 23 days behind you. you have lost

33 lbs in one month? congratulations! maybe you won't need any

fills! besides the thing to be focusing on now is healing i think.

keep up the good work and keep a positive attitude if we have to fly

to mexicali is that such a bad thing? i have great faith in those

people, and look forward to seeing them again. right now i am

concentrating on learning some spanish. take care, stay healthy!

the 20th of nov is only 6 weeks after your band was put in...what's

your rush? i guess you're already booked and all, so i will just

keep my mouth shut...good for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow!

Mt. Vernon and LaConner? My daughter lives in Burlington and that's

where I was in September when and I got together! Too bad I

didn't know about you guys then. We could have gotten together and

had a nice visit before you went down for your bandings!

I hope you get the fill situation figured out and your banding

journey is a great one!
