I just celebrated my 71 st birthday on Dec. 29, 2002. I am very active in three clubs and chairperson of the social committee in the condo's where we live. I am in the process of planning a Valentine Dinner for 50 people that live in the condo's. I also volunteer at the Senior Club. My husband Ralph and I just celebrated our 48th wedding anniversary on Feb. 5th. For me the risks of not having the surgery far exceeded the risks of having it.
