Guest guest
, I was surprised it wasn't worse! I have lost only 45 lbs. and my flabby skin looks about the same!!! I don't think I will ever get a tummy tuck either so I'll just have to jam it all into whatever clothes size I end up in! I have heard that you should wait for about a year after you reach your goal weight to do anything because your body needs time to " redistribute " . Sounds like you will be down to your goal weight before long. Good Luck! Thanks for sharing all your experiences (and pictures) with us. Guest guest
I have not done the lapband, yet. Still playing with the idea. For the flabby skin, lack of air, perspiring thingy, Spray Secret deodorant in those areas...keeps the perspiration down and the stops the odor that the perspiration causes and the rashes. Guest guest
Thanks! I will try that. So far I have been keeping it dry with medicated body powder. The spray seems easier LOL. Guest guest
I had a lot of people asking me if I had loose skin and I kept telling them "YEP!" but figured seeing is believing. At one time I actually weighed 300lbs after the birth of my second son and before I got on thyroid meds. That is a lot of stretching, plus with my first I gained 75lbs very quickly. My skin just couldn't "snap back" after all that. Thanks for the compliments! It is kinda scary putting them on the internet. What if someone takes them and puts them on one of those "Priceless" attachments you get. Like, "Trip to Mexico, $500, Lapband Surgery $8200, Flabby skin that hangs, PRICELESS" LOL. Truly, I would rather have flabby skin then be overweight again...and that is the truth. Guest guest
Also....another thought...it's like a roll on...but does not have the extra chemicals of the normal deodorant's. Called Crystal......it is mineral salts, and the result is no oder. I get it at Walgreens....pink clear plastic cylinder about 5 inches high....usually kept on lower shelf....lasts a long time. Biggest thing is that it does not contain any Aluminium Clorhdryrate (spelling) Hee, Hee...probably can't get that into your belly button either. B. Mills <techgurl88@...> wrote: Thanks! Guest guest
You are so brave....I know that you may be a bit embarrassed with your flabby flab photo's....but it tells it like it is....and I thank you for them....actually they are not that bad..... You are still pretty young...and I am 60.....people tell me that I look like I am in my 40's....what I am a bit afraid of is that once I start losing weight I will feel a lot better, but look my age....think the fat cells are keeping my skin......what would you call it...smoother... or more plumped up....am afraid that I am a prune in waiting...hee, hee..... Guest guest
Hi , I get this even now and I havent been banded yet. Mine is a case of dun-lap syndrome(stomach done lapped over the belly button). I use and I cant think of the name but its what us woman use for yeast infections. I put some on a q-tip and tell my belly button to open wide and stick the cream in! For me the infection or what ever it is, will be gone in 1 day. This is what I have found to work pretty good. Guest guest
YEAH, DOUBLE FUBBLE, ha ha, Hey have a great vacation, you so deserve it, I can't keep up anymore the group is getting so big, with so many messages, I have to delete most of them, just don't have time to read over a 100 messages a day, so if anyone ever wants to ask me some thing directed to me, either put my name in the subject line, or email me privately, I will be glad to help anyone. As far as me, I am almost 4 weeks post op for the second time, and am doing great, only lost about 10 lbs and am remaining steady but I feel great and look pretty good if I say so my self, (WITH CLOTHES ON that is) anyways have a great time.
