Hi ,

I am going to tell you what Dr. Aceves said when I told him about the same thing you just said. He told me "NO you have done all the work, I only gave you the tool to achieve this". So girl give yourself a whole lot of credit for making good food choices and doing the right things. Yes, Dr. Aceves is wonderful and we all appreciate him VERY much. But it does take effort and work on our part to get where we are!.

CONGRATULATIONS to you!

Hugs,

Suzanne

Thank you!

I do have to say though that I would have never been able to afford the surgery

here in the US...I would still be 282 pounds and unhealthy. I am so grateful to

him and proud of myself!

Wow Sally, 230 to 130 in 9 months....that is amazing!!! I started off at 240 3 1/2months ago. I am currently at 197 and I am hoping that one day I can get to 130, better yet if I could do it in 9 months I would be so excited. That is fantastic. Do you workout much or just eat healthy? I would love to know.

Thanks!

Keela

That's so great! We're all proud of you. I hope you're taking shrinking pictures of yourself - you will forget what you look like in another 50 lbs or so. Now we have to get you to join the "I lost 100 lbs. club." I just joined it this morning!! I'm so excited. From 230 to 130 in 9 months - I can actually see air between my thighs when I stand upright (all the girls will know what a milestone that is!) Keep up the good work! Sally

Sally,

Amazing numbers I agree! Way to go fabulous job! YOu should be very proud of yourself.

I am not far off your numbers. My bmi is 19, I'm 138 lbs, and 5'8" and 1/2 inch. My surgery was feb 10 so I am at 8 months. I have not really changed my diet but my weightloss has slowed to 1 or 2 lbs a month. I was hoping to get down to 128 so that if I gain 10 lbs in bounce back, I will be happy at my weight. I could exercise more. I walk about 20 miles a week, but I don't run.

I've been trying to talk myself into a weight training program, with the hopes of firming. But I think I need a trainer for that. Anyone doing that?

K

Wow that is awesome. I wish I had that problem of trying not too lose too much weight. Great job!!!

Very little time to exercise with the constraints of my schedule at work. But, I do try to eat healthy - getting my protein and fluids in. Veggies and fruits when I can. White flour really gives me gas, so I avoid it. I need to stop losing now and start maintaining. It's a different mindset - has anybody else had an issue with this? What do you all do to keep yourself at the appropriate weight? Sally
