Guest guest
Phyllis, go to the databse here on the group ( to your left ) , Dr. Neil is someone that I hear the Washington patients recommend a lot. Guest guest
HI Phyllis!! :-) what part of Washington are you from? Me and Sherrie are from Washington too. Sherrie is being banded the 25th of this month and I am being banded oct. 6th. I will check with a client of mine who had the band awhile back. She said something about a doctor in olympia doing the fills for her. She also said he was about 150. But I think he may have gone up since then because it seems like these doctors are getting out of control with what they are charging for the fills. But I need to call her today and when I find out the doctors name and number I will get that to you k. :-) Hey if the fills are to expensive Sherrie and I have talked about making trips to Dr. A. So, maybe at some point we could all coordinate to go together. But you will need your first fill before us. It is awesome to see another washington bandster on here!! :-) talk to you soon, Davies > > I was banded on 8/8/06 and am now in the solid food phase and I'm not > feeling very much restriction. They asked me to provide a doctors report of surgery before they would see me. He wants to be sure that my doctor uses more than one stitch to keep the band and port in place. Apparently some of the Mexican doctors have only done one stitch and he won't take their patients because of the liability. They quoted me $250 for the first visit and $200 thereafter. A doctors visit without a fill is $40. They do not use Floro. That's one of the reasons I think I will go back to Dr. A. Guest guest
Hey Phyllis, I have several friends that have all been to Dr Neal. My husband is going to get a fill from him this coming Monday. All the fills are done with fluoro and he has several INAMED trained fill technicians. He is located in Olympia. His phone # is (360) 412-3120. There is also a place in Arlington, WA called Fill Management Northwest. Kitty Carmichael does the fills. They are done without fluoro and only cost $150. Her # is (360) 435-5365. What area of WA State do you live? Good Luck with your fill! Lake s, WA 210/134/? Guest guest
TO MY FELLOW WASHINGTONIANS: Phyllis McV., , & Sherrie: Hey ladies.....I think we should get our own little group together of Dr. Aceves patients that live in Washington and have a soup night or something. I know and Sherrie are due to have their surgery coming up and could learn from the rest of us.... Gross included. Phyllis, I have gone to Dr. Neil in Olympia twice for my first two fills and his office was exceptional. It is a little pricey though. They do the fills under fluro which Dr. Aceves prefers. Yes, we should all keep our eyes open for great rates to San Diego and make it a " girls day out " and go together to Dr. Aceves for our fills. I have heard that Dr. Chebli in North Seattle (where I live) is really great also but very pricey in his fees....more than Dr. Neil. Good luck with your surgeries girls.....your in GREAT hands. Guest guest
Hi Eileen, yes I think that is a wonderful idea!!! Count me in for a soup night!! :-) and the doctor I was speaking of is Dr. Neil in olympia, I talked to my friend today. And I called thier office. They are extremly friendly. And they charge 350 for the fill, but they do it like you said with a flouriscope everytime. It is really funny, The friend who got her fill from Dr. Neil got her surgery in the US and payed a pretty penny (maybe Dr. Neil was the one that did her surgery?). Well her hubby is a radioligost (ms) and she has been talking to him for ages about getting the band. and he totally stands behind it because he has seen many complictions from the bypass and tried to talk me out of it when I was thinking of getting it. Well, I was cutting his hair just recently and I was going on and on about going to Dr. A and how pleased everyone is with his care and his skills. she said when he came home that all he talked about was getting the band and coming to Dr. A. So, I may have added another patient to the list of washingtonians going to Dr. A!!! :-) He said he wants me to come and get my surgery and tell him how I liked my experience and then he will come next. He really could benifit, because he is a heavy man and has health complications from his weight. And it looks like you have lost alot of weight and fast! I was looking at your start weight and your now weight. you are doing really great! that would also be fun to go to SAn Deigo together too!! :-) talk to you soon, hugs, ps Sherrie is getting so close, i am so excited for her!! > > > > HI Phyllis!! :-) what part of Washington are you from? Guest guest
When I called Dr. Chebli I was quoted $250 for the first visit and $200 thereafter (no floro). Dr. Neil quoted me $350 but does use floro. My husband and I are going to be in southern Calif. this winter so my plan is to go back to Dr. A. for fills. There is still the chance that my first one will be up here though. I am from Port Angeles and the soup night sounds like fun but could it be soup lunch so I'm not driving back in the dark? Would love to meet you all! :-} Sherrie

Guest guest
Hi Eileen. I am like you I am 5'8. and I dont want to be a tiny person. I want to have curves " real women have curves!!! " and " real men " like women with some curvage. :-) I would like to be about 160- 170ish. My huband actually likes me being a curvy chick and he said to me " dont get to skinny " , he said " I like your soft curves " . But he is 6'4 and a ex football player and so he likes a woman with some substance. :-) We live out by Gig harbor. I have a salon outside of Gig Harbor. It is really nice, my hubby built it for me. It is really pretty. You can go and see me and my family on my my space the address is http://www.myspace.com/welcometoandreasworld You can see pics of me, my hubby, my family, and my salon. I love my space, I am always posting new pics of our crazy adventures. :-) we are going out the hood canal this weekend to a cabin on the water so I will have new pics after this weekend. :-) well I will be talking to you soon, have a nice weekend, hugs, > > > > > > > > HI Phyllis!! :-) what part of Washington are you from?
